Great game but iv got a question refering to the starting dates

The senko jidai campaign and the 1530 campaign both start in 1530 but with each of the factions controling more provinces in senko jidai. Im kind of confused about this, can someone tell me the difference and reason between the two?

Well, the senko jidai campaing is a more accurate in the provinces and in the starting date in real life is about 1528-1534 so its kinda accurately correct.
The normal campaing is in some sort of good date, but the provinces are not ruled by the correct clan
