I tried to do a LP of this campaign before, but the community channel I was using kinda crashed and burned, and I ended up having to abandon it. I'm glad to see someone else is doing a let's play of this mod.

No, it's the right mod. I am doing an EB let's play right now, but like I said I tried a Somnium Apostate Iuliani LP earlier in the year on a community youtube channel.

What do you mean by your community channel crashing and burning? Did you lose the videos? These days, I find myself hard pressed to attach myself to AAR's/LP's because unfortunately in most cases they go down due to technical issues of some sort or another.

Whatever the case, it is such a shame, because I was really enjoying it.

One community channel that I was a part of crashed and burned for some reason as well...it has 3,500 subs and the person who owned it decided to stop...don't understand why.

We weren't really getting anywhere and it lacked any support from our small community. Nobody wanted to run it and my ibsai lp was the only one getting views and the others stopped with their lps and then we abandoned it, later for some reason deleting the videos...

I notice when you have battles you always play with units in a single line. There is no attempt to fight in a more "roman" way using at least two lines and having any spear infantry in the front line with javelin/missile infantry behind.

It would be good to see you do some research on how late roman armies fought. I know SBH provided some good postings on this matter in the IB forum.

Never really researched how late Roman armies fought....always thought it was a jumbled mess due to the amount of Mercenaries they used. I'll look into it for the next episode, thanks for the suggestion!
